M&M'S® Chocolate Marshmallow Cookies

• Bake Time: 8 - 10 minutes
• Decoration Time: 2 minutes
• Difficulty: Moderate

• 3/4 cup sugar
• 3/4 cup shortening
• 1 egg
• 1 1/2 cups flour
• 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1/2 cup cocoa
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2/3 cup fat free milk
• 1/2 cup M&M’S® MINIS® Milk Chocolate Candies
• 18 large marshmallows

• 1. Cream together sugar and shortening.
• 2. Add egg to mixture.
• 3. Sift together flour, baking soda, salt and cocoa.
• 4. Add vanilla, milk and M&M’S® MINIS® Milk Chocolate Candies.
• 5. Mix together, drop onto greased baking sheet.
• 6. Bake at 375°F for 8 minutes.
• 7. Top each cookie with a marshmallow. Bake 3 minutes longer and cool.
• 8. Frosting: ½ cup butter, softened 2 tablespoons of water 1 1/2 cups confectioners’ sugar 1/3 cup cocoa Mix all ingredients together and frost top of cookies. Sprinkle frosting with M&M’S® MINIS® Milk Chocolate Candies.
