- Throw a notebook-decorating party. Buy lots of fun stickers and markers and invite your kids’ classmates over to personalize their school supplies.

- If there are just a few new kids in your child’s class, welcome them by inviting them over. Organize a fun activity, like baking cookies or playing board games or doing an art project.
