St. Patrick's Day Party Planning Tips with Bright Ideas!
Bright Ideas for St. Patrick's Day
  • Teach kids how to make a rainbow maker. Simply tape different colored markers to a ruler (all facing the same direction) and you can draw a rainbow in one swipe! Be sure to have large pieces of paper and a lot of colors to choose from.
  • The search is on when kids follow a lucky leprechaun's footprints to his pot o' gold! Before the party, cut out mini footprints from yellow construction paper and place in a long, winding path around the house. At the end of the trail, leave a small treasure chest full of delicious M&M'S®, STARBURST® and SNICKERS®.
  • Pin the pot o' gold on the rainbow! Just like pin the tail on the donkey, blindfold and spin kids around and let them try to pin the pot o' gold in the right place!
  • Kids go crazy when they play shamrock-n-roll. Play an Irish jig and let the kids do their best Irish dance. When the music stops, anyone still dancing is out. The last dancer standing wins a pot o' candy.
  • Instead of a raffle, try a four-leaf clover drawing. Cut out a bunch of three-leaf clovers and one four-leaf clover from green construction paper. Dump all of the clovers into a leprechaun hat and let your guests draw a clover from the hat. The kid who draws the four-leaf clover gets a prize and a bag of M&M'S®!
