USA Cupcakes
Show your pride at parties with these patriotic cupcakes at the center of your table!

What you'll need:
- 2 bags M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies Red, White and Blue Blend
- 1 bag MILKY WAY® Brand Minis
- 1 18.25-oz. box your favorite cake mix
- 1 12-oz. can whipped vanilla frosting
- 1 cup whipped vanilla frosting
- Red and blue gel or paste food coloring
- 2 12-cup cupcake pans
- 24 paper cupcake liners
- Spatula for frosting
- 2 bowls
What to do:
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Line the cupcake pans with the paper cupcake liners.
- Prepare the cake mixes according to the package instructions. Chop the unwrapped MILKY WAY® Brand Minis and fold them into the batter. Divide the batter evenly between the prepared pans. Bake for 12-19 minutes, or until golden brown.
- Remove from the oven, transfer to a wire rack, and let cool completely.
- Meanwhile, tint 1/2 cup of frosting blue and set it aside. Divide the remaining frosting between the two bowls. Tint one bowl of frosting red, and keep the other bowl of frosting white.
- Frost 4 cupcakes with the blue icing, and cover with blue and white M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies. Frost each remaining cupcake half-red and half-white. Cover each colored half with correspondingly colored M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies.
- With the photo as a guide, arrange the cupcakes in 4 rows of 6 cupcakes to resemble an American Flag!
TIP: If desired, you can also add M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Red, White and Blue Candies to the cake mix.
