Beautiful Butterflies

Create beautiful butterfly cookies that kids can decorate with their own designs. Tie a few cookies together to make a butterfly bouquet.

• 1 bag M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies
• 1 18-oz. package refrigerated sugar cookie dough
• 6 1-oz. squares white chocolate
• 24 wooden craft sticks
• Assorted food colorings

1. Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
2. Working with half the dough at a time on lightly floured surface, roll to 1/4-inch thickness.
3. Cut into butterfly shapes using 3-inch cookie cutters.
4. Press on craft sticks and place about 2 inches apart on ungreased cookie sheets.
5. Bake 10 to 12 minutes.
6. Cool 2 minutes on cookie sheets; cool completely on wire racks.
7. In top of double boiler over hot water, melt the white chocolate.
8. Remove from heat; divide among separate bowls for each glaze color desired.
9. Tint with food colorings, as desired.
10. Spread over cookies; decorate with M&M’S® Brand Milk Chocolate Candies. Let set.

Makes 24 cookies.
